Django is a huge framework. There are a lot of moving parts, and a lot of magic syntax that you need to remember. If you are anything like me, you find yourself dipping into the docs all the time to look up the syntax for even the most basic operations.
“How was I supposed to specify the template in a class-based view, again?”
“Ah, model forms! I forgot how to make them…“
I used to be stressed out about forgetting these things. It slowed me down. The struggle was real.
It was then that I decided to create a cheat sheet.
It is a single A4 page containing all the basic things Django developers need to be productive. Function-based views, Class-based views, models, forms, etc. All in one place. With examples! You can print it and keep it somewhere in sight. That way you don’t even need to leave your text editor when you need to look these things up.
Drop your email below, and I will send you a copy. I update the cheat sheet occasionally to add more content and adjust for newer Django versions. You will get those updates too.
